For a change of pace, head into the medieval city of Norwich with its splendid Norman castle, numerous museums, galleries and theatres and a host of great places to shop, eat and drink. You can take the train from nearby Gunton Station which is within easy walking distance from Clematis Cottage. History buffs will be spoilt for choice with the Felbrigg, Blickling, Holkham and Sandringham Estates all within easy reach along with the North Norfolk Railway and lots of local museums.
Wildlife lovers will enjoy walks around Sheringham Park and Pensthorpe Nature Reserve add in Amazonia Zoo, Bewilderwood, Bure Valley Railway, great golf courses, lovely walks and cycle routes and a host of other attractions you will soon see why this part of Norfolk remains so popular with visitors.
