Extra Amenities

Beach House is perfect for those looking for a fun filled family break or just a coastal getaway. As well as the lovely beach, the pretty market town of Sheringham boasts a great mix of high street and independent shops. You can leave your car on the private car park for the week and walk to a different place to eat and drink every evening. For those wanting to take a further break from driving, Sheringham has a mainline train station that will take you to Cromer, with its famous pier, Wroxham, the gateway to the gorgeous Norfolk Broads, and onwards to the medieval city of Norwich.

Sheringham also boasts North Norfolk Railway and Sheringham Park, 1000 acres of unspoilt nature trails and walks, offering ever changing vistas that are stunning whatever time of the year you visit. Travel north or south from here and discover an array of beach habitats including salt marshes, sand dunes and quays. Head to Blakeney for a spot of crabbing or Cley to explore the marshes.

The National Trust’s Blickling Hall is also within easy reach, as is the Thursford Collection with its much celebrated Christmas Spectacular. In fact, this part of Norfolk is a great year round destination and, with many local towns boasting unique high streets and looking really pretty and festive, it’s a great choice for a spot of Christmas shopping too. Beach 300 yards. Shop and restaurant 100 yards, pub 150 yards
