Extra Amenities

This semi-detached New England style holiday home has views over the 18th green at the well-maintained Richmond Park Golf Club which has the River Wissey winding through it and offers a driving range with a covered bay, putting green, golf lessons and a popular club house. Golfers can even enjoy discounted green fees during their stay. Deceptively spacious inside, this light, airy and contemporary property offers a delightful base from which to enjoy a game of golf or to explore all that the area has to offer. For keen anglers, fishing opportunities are also available close by at Loch Neaton. Set in beautiful surroundings, Loch Neaton, which offers day and evening fishing tickets, is a well-stocked fishing lake, perfect for anglers of all ages and abilities. The relatively flat terrain of North Norfolk makes this an ideal place for picturesque walks and gentle cycle rides.

Thetford Forest is ideal for walking and cycling with the Peddars Way footpath and cycle route running through it. It is a patchwork of pines, heathland and broadleaves, providing the ideal setting for a great day out and it is a welcome refuge for a rich variety of animal and plant life. The Mid-Norfolk Railway runs through the heart of the Norfolk countryside and the views are both varied and beautiful at different times of the year. Not to be missed is a trip to the ’fine city’ of Norwich with its imposing Norman castle, medieval streets, numerous museums and ample shopping and eating opportunities. Or make time to visit Bury St Edmunds, an important market town with a richly fascinating heritage, the striking combination of medieval architecture, elegant Georgian squares and glorious cathedral and abbey gardens provide a distinctive visual charm.

With prestigious shopping, an award-winning market, plus a variety of attractions, it’s well worth a visit. Of course, the Norfolk coast offers amazing treasures too, from the quaint and unspoilt Wells-next-the-Sea with its picturesque harbour to all the fun of the fair in Hunstanton. And with numerous National Trust properties and stately homes such as Oxborough Hall, a 15th-century moated manor house with a fine gatehouse, chapel, gardens and woodland walks, you really will be spoilt for choice. One of the great benefits of staying at Jubilee Lodge is that after a busy day, you can retire to a nearby clubhouse for dinner and drinks, making this a must for golfers and non-golfers alike. Shop ½ mile, club bar and restaurant 50 yards.
