The Mid-Norfolk Railway runs through the heart of the Norfolk countryside and the views are both varied and beautiful at different times of the year. Not to be missed is a trip to the ’fine city’ of Norwich with its imposing Norman castle, medieval streets, numerous museums and ample shopping and eating opportunities. Or make time to visit Bury St Edmunds, an important market town with a richly fascinating heritage, the striking combination of medieval architecture, elegant Georgian squares and glorious cathedral and abbey gardens provide a distinctive visual charm.
