A pretty conversion of a stable and barn, located at the centre of the small hamlet of Wootton, a quiet refuge for rambling holidays with access to Alton Towers and Ashbourne.

Ground Floor:
Living room: With electric coal-effect fire and Freeview TV.
Kitchen/dining room: With electric hob, combi microwave/oven/grill, small fridge and small freezer.
Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet.
First Floor:
Bedroom: With double bed and limited headroom.

Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Front garden with garden furniture (shared with owner). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.

Yelt Cottage offers self-catering accommodation for up to two guests. You will enter the property into the kitchenette and dining area, there is ample space for a couple who wish to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful time away. The kitchenette has a small fridge and small freezer, combi microwave, and hot rings. There is a good-sized living room with comfortable seating, TV, electric coal effect fire and French windows, and a shower room completes the ground floor.
On the first floor is the cosy double bedroom, it is situated in the gables so there is limited headspace.

The cottage offers a small outdoor area with bistro set where you can sit and enjoy a morning coffee while you plan your day ahead.
Yelt Cottage is located on the edge of the Peak District, close to Dovedale where you can walk the famous steppingstones, and there are other great trail routes to follow such as Tissington and Manifold Valley. Please note that transport is strongly advised due to the location.
Carsington Water is close by which has some exciting water spots you can partake in, as well as Chatsworth House where you can enter this historic building and enjoy a leisurely stroll around the gardens before afternoon tea in the café.

Or, if you are a thrill seeker, head to Alton Towers for the day which is a short 10-minute drive. There is a pub within a mile from the cottage and a local shop within 2 miles. The nearest town is Ashbourne which has an array of nice places to eat and shop
