Being situated in a commanding position overlooking the village pond and greens, it brings a sense of tranquillity and makes for the perfect romantic retreat. Within the village is a well-known pub offering delicious home cooked meals and great ales. This area is a particular hot spot for walkers as you really are spoilt for choice with routes you can take. Check out the local town of Bakewell, plus others such as Buxton, Matlock and a trip to Chatsworth House. After a busy day exploring the Peaks, return to this cosy cottage where a wood burner awaits you in the comfortable living room with Smart TV, located on the ground floor. There is also a kitchen equipped with all you should need to inspire a hearty meal, as well as a dining room. Upstairs there is a kingsize bedroom with great views over the green, and an en-suite with large walk-in shower.
