What were once the servants quarters of the adjoining Victorian Vicarage, has now been fully transformed into this wonderful holiday cottage complete with own private garden. The utility room is conveniently located on the lower ground floor which is accessed via an oak staircase. It is located in the heart of the Peak District National Park, in the peaceful village of Curbar. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy fine walking along the top of Curbar Edge, Froggatt Edge and Baslow Edge, from which fabulous far reaching views are the reward.
Just 2 minutes’ walk from the property is the convenience of a fine local pub serving food, with Eyam and the slightly larger village of Baslow, which is home to a good selection of local amenities, both just 5 minutes by car. The hugely popular market town of Bakewell is around a 15-minute drive, as is the magnificent Chatsworth House, which the energetic can also access by foot from Baslow.
The wonderful gothic Haddon Hall can be reached in around a 20-minute drive, and a whole host of other Peak District towns and villages including Buxton, Castleton, Hathersage and Matlock are available within half an hour. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 100 yards
