Owl Cottage is a lovely conversion of barn tucked away in the owner’s garden in the village of Heckington famous for its eight-sail windmill. The railway station offers local train links to Skegness and the lovely east coast beaches. Tattershall Castle, National Trust, Belton House and the pleasant riverside market town of Sleaford are all within 10 miles and Burghley House and Belvoir Castle are about 25 miles, as is the medieval city of Lincoln with its awe-inspiring cathedral, Norman castle and delightful independent shops and galleries. Visitors can enjoy excellent walking and cycling throughout the area with a golf course 5 miles away. Shop, pub and restaurant 300 yards.
