Harley Castle Hill5 bedrooms, Sleeps 10.

Spacious five-bedroom Shropshire home with Wenlock Edge views, a log burner, balcony and large garden with play area, sleeping up to 10 and welcoming up to two dogs, close to Much Wenlock.

No smoking. This property has a £150 security deposit.

In the pretty Shropshire village of Harley, this spacious contemporary home looks out over the sweeping ridge of Wenlock Edge, which is classed as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With five bedrooms and three bathrooms, it is ideal for big family get-togethers or a break with friends, and there is plenty of room indoors and out to spread out.
The main living space is open-plan and light-filled, with a modern kitchen and dining area designed for long, sociable meals. A coffee machine is on hand for early starts, while a utility room with washing machine and dryer keeps day-to-day life simple.

When you fancy a quieter moment, retreat to the separate snug with a log burner and comfortable seating, perfect for film nights, board games or reading.
Doors open onto a generous balcony and an established lawned garden with space for games, with an outdoor play area for children and a pond, plus pasture beyond. Sleeping arrangements are flexible, from a super-king en-suite bedroom and a king-size room with its own bathroom, to a bunk room (with a double below and a single above), a cabin-style single and a separate double bedroom.

Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome, though they should be kept under control as livestock may be nearby, and there is parking for at least five cars. The medieval town of Much Wenlock is around 2 miles away for independent shops and history, with Shrewsbury and Ironbridge within easy reach for days out, and plenty of walking, from Wenlock Edge to the Long Mynd, as well as the Wrekin.
