In easy reach of Orchard Barns 1 is Berkeley Castle, the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Slimbridge, the Arboretum at Westonbirt, many National Trust properties, the thriving market town of Tetbury and two riding centres close by, plus Stinchcombe Golf Club. The major attractions of Bristol, Bath, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Cardiff, Malvern and the Forest of Dean are all less than an hour’s drive away.
There are three lovely farm shops/cafes 5 minutes away where people can relax and enjoy local cuisine plus beautiful Cotswold walks or take a leisurely walk along local canals where pubs and cafes can be found. Just 15 minutes’ drive away is Stroud. This bustling town has a bohemian vibe with independent shops, eateries and markets. It sports a wonderful Saturday farmer’s market where you can stock up on local fruit, veg, pasta and pesto from local artisans.

The locally renowned Salt Bakery bread and croissants, and wonderful Eleon olive oil are a must for your basket. With all your yummy produce, why not pack up a picnic and head to Coaley Peak with its fabulous view point looking out across the Severn Vale and out to Wales.
