Lovely bungalow with wonderful views over the Severn in the Forest of Dean.
All on the ground floor.
Living room: With open fire and Freeview TV.
Kitchen: With electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
Bedroom 1: With single bed.
Bedroom 2: With twin beds.

Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.
Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels included. Initial fuel for open fire included (not in summer). Welcome pack. External utility room with washing machine, hose and toilet. Boiler room for drying wet clothing and footwear. Enclosed front garden with patio, summerhouse, garden furniture and barbecue. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are steps and a slope in the garden.
Rivendell is a detached bungalow with incredible views over the Severn Estuary. The property consists of a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, and an open plan living/dining area with Freeview TV, and a cosy open fire. There is also a family bathroom and three bedrooms, comprising a single bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a master double bedroom. Outside you will find an enclosed garden with a lawn, flower beds, seating areas, and a summerhouse. Access to a lower lawn with an orchard is down steps or a sloping grass path. A handrail is provided for use as necessary.
Walks can be had directly from the garden out into the forest. The Forest of Dean is bordered by the Wye Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the River Severn.
In this compact area, there are outdoor activities in abundance including horse riding, golf, fishing, mountain biking trails from easy to extreme, canoeing, kayaking, and rock climbing. Wonderful walks with stunning scenery await you within the forest and the Wye Valley and every season has a beauty of its own. Time your stay to coincide with the Severn Bore, one of the natural wonders of the world.
There are numerous fun places to visit with attractions such as Go Ape, Puzzlewood, Mountain Biking routes from Easy to Extreme at Pedal-Bike-Away, and a separate Family Trail, The Wye Valley for Water Sports and Rock Climbing, Clearwell Caves, and the Beechenhurst Sculpture Trail.
All about 10-20 minutes away. Chepstow Goodrich Castles and Tintern Abbey are interesting historical sites for all ages. Blakeney village is just a few minutes away by car and walkable in about 10 minutes. Amenities include a post office/newsagents, general store, pub, fish and chip shop, church, bus stop, and surgery.
The cathedral city of Gloucester, Monmouth, Chepstow, and the pretty market town on Ross-on-Wye are all within a short drive. Regency Cheltenham and The Cotswolds, The Malvern Hills, The Cathedral City of Hereford (with the famous Mappa Mundi), and The Black Mountains of Wales are also all just an easy day’s drive away
