Dating from AD 806 according to the Domesday survey of 1086, this unique property was once the resting place of monks and Knights Templar who fought in the Crusades. The present building dates from 1770 and its interior retains the inscribed ledger Yorkstone floor in the kitchen, the carved stone font in the living area, painted ceilings in the mezzanine bedrooms, arched window and the heavy church door.
Its secluded, wooded setting boasts lovely rural views, with a patio overlooking a lake and on to the rolling hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds.

The east coast with its traditional seaside resorts of Skegness, Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea is about 35 mins drive with miles of Blue Flag sandy beaches to stroll along.
