Once you have experienced your first visit to Ryecroft you will want to return time and time again!. Ground Floor:
Living room 1: With wood burner and Smart TV. Living room 2: With wood burner and Smart TV.
Dining room.
Kitchen: With electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge with icebox compartment, dishwasher and washing machine.
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With double bed and single bed.
Bedroom 2: With double bed.
Bathroom: With bath, shower cubicle and toilet.
Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included. Welcome pack. Back garden with patio, sitting-out area and garden furniture. Bike store. On road parking. No smoking. Please note: Family bookings and holidaymakers only. There are 7 steps in the garden.
Step into Ryecroft Cottage and wander through the light and airy hallway into the lounge and admire the views of Riber Castle on the hilltop above from the large window.
Relax on the comfortable seating, light the woodburning fire and put your feet up with a good book. There is a second lounge also with a woodburning stove, Smart TV and comfy sofa and chairs giving all your party a place to relax. The kitchen offers a electric cooker and hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and convenient access to the outside area with lawned garden and patio area.
Going up to the first floor, you will find a beautiful family bedroom with a double bed and single bed. The second bedroom also has a double bed, and the bathroom has a separate shower and bath.
Situated at the top of a hill that runs down into Matlock town centre, you’ll find there is host of things to see and do on your doorstep, including an array of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. There is a weekly market, and within easy reach are the gorgeous country housesof Chatsworth and Haddon Hall both ideal for whiling away an afternoon.
The Matlock Bath Illuminations and firework display are especially popular with kids and adults alike in autumn. Just a short drive will take you to the nearby picturesque market town of Bakewell which lies in the heart of the Peak District National Park and is a delightful place for meandering through the various shops, cafés and restaurants. Once you have had your first visit to Ryecroft you will want to return time and time again!
