You will love this second floor apartment, with its stunning views and tastefully decorated open-plan living space. Internally designed to a very good standard, Skylark View offers a cosy kingsize bedroom with en-suite, along with a comfortable twin bedroom and fantastic shower room. Situated in an ideal elevated position and just a 5-minute walk into the famous market town of Matlock, this apartment really is a very special place to stay.
The popular Peak District town of Matlock, together with itsneighbour Matlock Bath, has been attracting visitors to the area since the spa was developed in the late 17th century.
Set in the beautiful wooded gorge of the River Derwent, the Matlocks offer a range of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a host of attractions including Gulliver’s Kingdom and the Peak District Mining Museum. Magnificent views down the gorge can be enjoyed from the cable car which takes visitors up to the Heights of Abraham – a great place for all the family with its show caves, nature trail, water gardens and Owl Maze.
South of the town is the start of the High Peak Cycle Trail, whilst a short drive away is the National Tramway Museum at Crich. Only 8 miles away is the market town of Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Park, and Haddon Hall. The famous spa town of Buxton is also not to be missed. Shop and restaurant ¼ mile, pub 200 yards.
