This is a great place to relax and unwind, with easy canal walking outside your front door. Also available on site is a tea room (located on the ground floor), horse-drawn narrowboat trips (times may vary) and canoe hire. Several pubs are within walking distance. This is an ideal location from which to explore Shropshire, the Welsh Marches and Snowdonia. A must for motorbike enthusiasts, with motorbike parking available. Popular destinations within a 30-minute drive are the walled city of Chester and Shrewsbury, a medieval town encircled by the River Severn with excellent bars and restaurants, and the Theatre Severn. Visit Llangollen, with its steam railway, horse-drawn barges, canal boats and white water experiences.
