The Mill Flat is located on a working sheep and cattle farm and perfect for a romantic break for two. Accessed via 14 steps, it has a lovely open plan living space with a living room, dining room and kitchen with everything you need home from home – cook up a storm in the kitchen whilst your other half relaxes with a glass of something fizzy. There is also a double bedroom and a shower room. Outside, the great shared open-air space area is equipped with a firepit, pizza oven and table tennis table – perfect for sitting inthe evening and listening to the local wildlife.
There are some great walks to be had from the front door and lots of open space here to explore, whether it be on foot or bicycle. The Mill Flat is just 7 miles from Ross-on-Wye, perfectly situated for a break in the beautiful Wye Valley, set amongst picturesque south Hereford countryside, close to the Welsh mountains in the west, the Malvern Hills and Forest of Dean. There is good walking from the door to the Wye Valley Walk and within easy driving distance of the cathedral cities of Hereford, Worcester and Gloucester.
Visit Symonds Yat Rock, famous for its nesting peregrine falcons’ the Forest of Dean for cycling and walking; and the Wye Valley for rock climbing, fishing and canoeing. The property is also within easy driving for racing at Cheltenham, Chepstow and Worcester. Other popular locations for climbers and walkers is the Malvern Hills, the Brecon Beacons and Skirrid Fawr.
