Extra Amenities

On a small working farm, these five cottages are beautiful conversions of a range of traditional farm buildings (refs W44143, W44144, W44145, W44146 and W44147). They are situated in the vicinity of many well known attractions in both Staffordshire and Shropshire. Within a 25 mile drive is Alton Towers, famous for its gardens and incredible theme park rides, the Ironbridge Gorge (a spectacular sight amidst lush woodland), Cosford Aerospace Museum, the Royal Doulton pottery, the Wedgwood pottery, the town of Shrewsbury and many more places of interest.

Surrounded by picturesque countryside, there are plenty of quiet country lanes to explore, ideal for walking or cycling. Canal boat trips are available along the Shropshire Union canal, and fishing, golf and horse riding can also all be found within 5 miles. Bed and Breakfast is available in the adjoining farmhouse. Many guests return year after year to these excellent properties.

In a courtyard setting, the cottages retain much of their original character, making them an excellent base for a countryside holiday. Relax and dine in the courtyard garden and barbecue area after a busy day exploring. Guests are welcome to come and see all the farm animals, walk through the fields, or picnic in the wooded area by the stream. Coarse fishing available. Ideal for golf and horse riding. Shops 6 mile
