This beautifully converted barn is well appointed throughout and sits prettily within its own plot. Spaciously converted it makes for the perfect holiday base for touring and exploring the Cotswolds as it sits right on the edge. Set over two floors, this stunning accommodation offers a living/dining room, downstair bathroom and utility room. A cosy living room complete with a feature wood burner and a sunroom with direct access to the garden.
Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and a twin room along with a family bathroom. Outside there is a spacious garden, perfect for garden games, also included is garden furniture and a barbecue, perfect for those days when you feel like dining al fresco.
Should you feel like rambling the local area, running beside your wonderful abode is a local footpath perfect for a scenic walk. Within 10 minutes from Rathlin Cottage is Berkeley Castle, the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Slimbridge, the Arboretum at Westonbirt and many National Trust properties. The thriving market town of Tetbury and two riding centres are also close by, plus Stinchcombe Golf Club.
The major attractions of Bristol, Bath, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Cardiff, Malvern, and the Forest of Dean are all less than an hour’s drive away. Just a 30-minute country drive away is Stroud, this bustling town has a bohemian vibe with independent shops, eateries and markets. The locally renowned Salt Bakery bread and croissants, and wonderful Eleon olive oil are a must for your basket. With all your yummy produce, why not pack up a picnic and head to Coaley Peak with its fabulous viewpoint looking out across the Severn Vale and out to Wales. On a good day you can see the Black Mountains in Wales, the Malvern Hills and the Suger Loaf. Pub ½mile and restaurant ¾mile
