Bailey Cottage is a 300-year-old grade II listed stone-built cottage that is bursting with original features and beams nestled in the village of Stain Drop right next to the Raby Castle and Deer Park. On the ground floor, there is a cosy living room with soft furnishings a warming wood burner and a quaint kitchen with all the equipment you should require to rustle up a hearty breakfast before a busy day exploring. The bedroom on the first floor boasts a super king-size bed with soft linens and views of the area. There is a shower room on this level, and this completes the property. There is ample and unrestricted on-street parking.

Ancient churches, castles and Roman sites are within walking distance or a short drive away. The "Home of the Railways," welcomes you to visit Locomotion in Shildon or Darlington Railway Museum.
