With miles of beautiful sandy beach and sand dunes, all within an easy walking distance, this is an ideal family retreat. The accommodation is furnished and equipped to a very good standard. This is a delightful base from which to explore the stunning heritage coast, Lindisfarne (Holy Island) with its castle and ruined priory is worth a visit but ensure you check the tide times as access is via a tidal causeway. Alnwick Castle and Gardens, which became Harry Potter’s Hogwarts in the epic tales, is just 13 miles. Shop 110 yards, pub 22 yards.
