We love this private country retreat set within lovely grounds, with all of the facilities needed for a memorable stay! Perfect for a family holiday or a special occasion!. Step to entrance.

The stylish lounge, boasts comfy sofas and for your entertainment, a Smart TV is provided, should you wish to spend time with the family watching a movie. The heart of the home is the open-plan kitchen/diner, a fantastic space for cooking, dining, and socialising. The kitchen is superbly equipped, whether you’re preparing a hearty family meal or hosting a special dinner, this space enjoys plenty of natural light, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

For more formal dining, the separate dining room offers a sophisticated setting for enjoying meals with family and friends. A further living room with doors to the patio is another relaxing space.
Steelclose Cottage can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. Upstairs, you’ll find two king-sized rooms, each offering a relaxing and restful environment one with a walk in wardrobe and views of the gardens. A large family bathroom with both a bath and separate shower is also located on the first floor. A further sofa bed is in the snug area for additional sleeping with a ground floor cloakroom for added convenience.
With outdoor bliss and nature on your doorstep, step outside and you’ll discover even more to enjoy. The garden and surrounding countryside provide a peaceful oasis, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. Relax inthe bubbling hot tub, or simply sit back and take in the sights and sounds of nature.

Please note, there is an unfenced pond in the vicinity, so children must be supervised at all times. Ideally located to explore some of the North East’s finest attractions. The Derwent Walk and the C2C cycling route are nearby, making this an excellent base for outdoor enthusiasts.
