This absolutely charming three storey, Northumbrian stone, barn conversion dates back to 1760, and is set in a delightful enclosed courtyard surrounded by trees. Arrow slit windows, exposed stone walls, beautiful, vaulted ceiling and minstrel gallery, wrought iron spiral staircase are all part of the rustic charm throughout.
Step into the open plan living, kitchen and dining area with a wood burner, perfect for cosy nights in. A doorway takes you to a private decked balcony with table and chairs overlooking the valley with a stream and mini waterfall. From the living room, the spiral staircase leads up to the minstrel gallery and down to the bedrooms and bathroom. As well as the wonderful wood burner, the living area has a large flat screen smart TV, and a bigcorner sofa to slouch.

The large dining table has beautiful views looking out to the garden and the kitchen is the heart of the room with an island and all the modern amenities a chef could dream of! The spiral staircase leads down to the two spacious bedrooms with lovely views and private access to outside seating, garden and grounds. The beds are super kings (can be split into twins) with the finest quality bed linen, perfect for a good nights rest. The family bathroom equipped with a roll-top bath, shower cubicle and the Lake’s Heritage toiletries completes the accommodation. The detached barn is one of three properties on site and is set in 11 acres with two hills to explore, a beautiful, enclosed valley with a meadow, stream and a walled garden. The wildlife isin abundance surrounding the property.


Haltwhistle is only 2 miles with plenty of pubs and local amenities. Haltwhistle and surrounding villages have free parking, and Haltwhistle has a railway station and buses. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the valley, meadow and hills and of course feeding the flock. Beautiful walks, museums, archaeological digs and castles are on your doorstep. Wonderful antique shops at Brampton and Hexham, markets and lovely places to dine are all within easy reach.
