As soon as you walk into The Hideaway you can see the attention to detail throughout. Oozing glamour, it is perfect for that special short break or week away. Completed in 2018, The Hideaway backs onto trees offering privacy around the raised decked area, where there is seating and the hot tub. This detached lodge is located on a holiday park and features a large wall mounted Smart TV, Wi-Fi and a contemporary modern finish throughout. A perfect retreat for relaxing both inside and out, it lies just under a mile from the popular wedding venue of Le Petit Chateau, making the lodge ideal for relaxing before or after the big day.

The park is set just within the Northumberland National Park boundary, making it ideal for catching the beautiful dark sky on a clear night.

The village shop stocks all the essentials needed as well as some wines and beers. Should you wish to do a bigger shop, there are large supermarkets that deliver, or take a trip to Bellingham, 9 miles, where there are many amenities such as a supermarket, butcher, baker and a post office. The site has a restaurant and small bar which currently opens at selected times and serves great food. For water sports enthusiasts, mountain bikers and walkers, Kielder Forest and Waterside is within easy reach, as is the Kielder Observatory, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and perfect for stargazing.

Northumberland has been voted the best county to visit in the British Travel Awards 2018, with its stunning golden beaches, International Dark Sky National Park, Hadrian’s Wall, and hills and moors. A day trip to the beautiful Heritage Coast should not be missed, where you can call into Bamburgh Castle and walk along one of the most photographed beaches in Northumberland. Day trips all over are easily accessible from here and having The Hideaway to return to after a day out exploring is a real treat. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile
