Nestled within spectacular open countryside in the heart of the Northumberland National Park, and with its own private nature reserve, Ryecroft Cottage is a charming, traditional stone Northumbrian cottage, all on one floor and renovated to a high standard.  The dining lounge has a cosy open log fire, idyllic to relax and gaze into the flames after a day exploring the stunning hills, woods and moors that surround Ryecroft Cottage.

 A window-side bird table is visited by numerous species including woodpeckers and rare red squirrels. Guests are welcome to roam through the owners’ private nature reserve directly opposite the cottage (see www. ournaturereserve. blogspot. co. uk) and admire its wildflowers.  The well equipped kitchen has high quality appliances and there are two immaculately presented bedrooms making this delightful cottage suitable for families, friends or couples.

 A fresh bathroom with over bath shower completes the interior. There are fully enclosed gardens at both front and rear and a picnic table for al fresco dining.  Ideal for walking, nature watching, sightseeing, cycling (lockable shed available for bicycles) or just relaxing.  Shop, pub and restaurant 5 mile
