Extra Amenities

Long Mynd is located near Stockghyll Falls, an area with pretty woodland and waterfalls cascading from Red Screes above to Ambleside village and the lake below. The property is set in one and a half acres of grounds and landscaping on the former site of the old bobbin mill, the original buildings have been converted to luxury cottages and apartments with the addition of accommodation built in the same slate and stone to blend sympathetically into the area. Set in an area with Stockghyll running through it, the area has a number of steep banks, waterfalls and fast flowing water. This is a superb base for local, country and woodland walks with Ambleside a short stroll away and Langdale Pike within 4 miles. Offering a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, Ambleside still retains its unique village atmosphere in the heart of the Lake District. Lake 1 mile. Beach 9 miles.
