Enjoy a coffee in bed in the sumptuous double, and there is a bunk bed at the far end of the pod, ideal to keep an eye on the younger members of the family. A shower room with heated towel rail is on hand to revive and refresh before you head out.

On the northern fringes of the Lake District National Park, you will not have to travel far to see the many pretty and quieter spots. Guests can enjoy the vast array of wildlife and the panoramic views looking over the Solway coast and the Scottish hills just from the doorstep. Should you wish to explore further, the popular market town of Keswick is just a short 30-minute drive away, or for shopping, museums and a castle, historic Carlisle is a similar drive away too.
