Open plan in design with comfortable space for all, this pod has plenty of natural light from the large French doors that face out over the open green space of the site. Open them fully and bring the outside in, whilst the wall mounted Smart TV has all the Freeview channels should you want to catch a movie from the comfort of the large sofa. A well equipped kitchen can provide you with a hearty meal to start your day, or for the romantics, breakfast in bed in the sumptuous double.
There are two further bunk beds are at the far end of the pod. A shower room with heated towel rail is on hand to revive and refresh before you head out for the day.
Perfectly placed on the northern fringes of the Lake District National Park, you will not have to travel far to see the many pretty and quieter spots. Curlew is set on a small camping site amongst 23 acres full of wildlife, surrounding farmland and stunning views over the Solway and Scotland. For walkers, the tranquil northern fells are ideal to get away from the crowds, or it is a short drive to the unspoilt coastline, 16 miles away.
Historic Carlisle and Hadrian’s Wall are just over half an hour away, whilst nearby village of Caldbeck, 3½ miles, has a shop, pub and restaurant. Beach 17 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 3½ miles.
