Chestnuts sits on the edge on the little village of Moorhouse where you can stroll along to the lovely local pub and enjoy a meal or just a drink or two. Close to the border city of Carlisle the perfect location for exploring not only the wonderful Cumbrian countryside but only a short trip over the border into Scotland.

With quiet country lanes surrounding you, Chestnuts is ideal for cycling and walking particularly as Hadrian’s Wall passes by so why not wander along some of this iconic landmark.
