The southern Lake District is easily accessible for those wanting to explore the area. The pretty village of Cartmel is just a short drive away, or why not catch a lake cruise from Newby Bridge Pier, it really is the best way to see Windermere. There are a plethora of activities nearby including walking, cycling, fishing and outdoor pursuits for everyone right on your doorstep. Beach 4¼ miles. Shop 2½ miles, pub ¼ mile, restaurant 3½ miles
