This charming two bedroom traditional cottage constructed with Lakeland stone is situated on a quiet lane on the fringe of the beautiful town of Coniston, providing guests with a luxurious stay. There is a cosy living room with comfortable furniture all wrapped about the wood burner. The kitchen is traditional with a Belfast sink and holds a cottage theme whilst providing a good level of appliances. On the first floor there is a master bedroom with a double bed and a staircase leading to a mezzanine with a beautiful roll-top bath surrounded by a glass balustrade.
There is a further twin bedroom with en-suite shower, but which can serve all guests. Outside there is a small garden to the front, with a beautiful view overlooking the lake and Grizedale forest and small patio and storage shed to the rear. Private parking is available on Old Furness Road.
The cottage is located just a short stroll from the heart of Coniston which offers guests a superb array of shops, restaurants and bars, a short stroll will lead you to the Coniston lake which is a perfect way to spend a day by the water.
You can take a short drive to Hawkshead and use the air ferry to get to Windermere where you can jump on one of the steamers and explore the lake. The area is ideal for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts whilst also catering for guests that just want to relax and sample the local food, gins and real ales. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards
