A superior detached spacious cottage in an idyllic,truly rural location.

Accommodation details

Ground Floor:
The ground floor is entered via a large hall, immediately you see the beautiful oak doors and staircase.
Living Room: With a view over the garden. Ample seating, wood burner and TV.
Dining room: Is furnished with a magnificent mahogany table with chairs to seat 10. There are other antique pieces and a bookcase containing all your holiday reading.  Double doors lead to the conservatory.

An archway leads into the kitchen.
Conservatory: Overlooks a wooded bank area.  It contains chairs, a settee and you can watch the squirrels and badgers at play.
Kitchen: contains every utensil and dish that you might need for your cooking, together with electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer and coffee machine. Four of you can enjoy sitting eating at the table near the doors leading to the patio.

Crockery, cutlery and glassware are provided in abundance.
Bedroom 1: With double bed, fitted wardrobe and overlooks the garden.
Bedroom 2: With twin beds.
Shower room: With shower and toilet.
Cupboards off the hall provides a cloakroom and a toy cupboard containing toys, jigsaws etc

First Floor:
Master Bedroom: with king size bed, built in wardrobes, dressing table and other furniture.
Bedroom 4: with twin beds, built in wardrobes and overlooks Aira Beck.
Bathroom: With shower, bath and toilet.  . Central heating, electricity, oil, coal, bed linen, bath, hand towels and superfast broadband included. Initial logs for woodburner included. Cot and highchair available on request.  . There is ample car parking space, to the front is a laid out garden and to the rear several small areas containing garden furniture. These areas are overlooked by fields as far as the fells. There are sloping grounds in the garden. Visit Britain Gold awarded property.

A beautiful, spacious, detached cottage situated on the edge of the hamlet of Dockray. Tastefully furnished throughout to a very good standard. Relax in the conservatory whilst watching red squirrels, a variety of birds, Aira Beck flowing by and the fells beyond. the living room is a lovely bright sunny room overlooking the beck, with ample comfortable seating. A wood burner entices you to spend evening sin front of it whatever the weather!
Looking How is well situated to make use of all the walking and cycling opportunities that this stunning part of the Lake District has to offer just out of the door. Two minutes walk down the road is a pub serving delicious food, and it also has a tea room and art gallery. The market towns of Penrith and Keswick are a 20 minute drive, providing excellent shopping facilities, pubs and restaurants. Also nearby you will find Rheged - an award winning visitor attraction. Shop and restaurant 4 miles, pub 100 yards.
