Close by the village of Cartmel is a picture postcard Lakeland village with charming winding narrow streets surround a small village square and the village’s Sticky Toffee Pudding is its very own speciality.

The village is home to the Michelin starred restaurant, L’Enclume, which is acclaimed as one of the best in the country and does require forward booking.
