Croft Cottage was converted in July 2019 to a good specification, providing a contemporary feel that complements the history and features of the original barn. The property is heated by an environmentally friendly, bio mass boiler which fuels the underfloor heating and hot water.

Croft Cottage is a short drive from the centre of Kendal and its amenities, which is one of the Lake District’s most popular market towns. In addition to a wide variety of shops and supermarkets there are many cosy tea rooms, cafés and restaurants. Take a walk by the river or to the castle, visit the museums, art gallery and the Brewery Arts Centre.

Explore Windermere, Bowness, Ambleside and the attractions of the South Lakes or head east towards Sedbergh, Dent, Hawes and the Yorkshire Dales.

Wherever you choose to visit, Croft Cottage makes for the ideal base from which to explore both National Parks. Beach 16 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
