Clover Cottage has been completely refurbished in early 2019 transforming it into a wonderful Keswick retreat with a warm and inviting interior design and décor. Situated just a stone’s throw from Keswick’s vibrant town centre yet set to the rear of a small courtyard, Clover Cottage is perfectly located to enjoy all that Keswick has to offer on your doorstep whilst tucked away for a relaxing break.
With the added bonus of a private parking space suitable for one small car right on your doorstep, the location is perfect for exploring Keswick’s wide range of facilities and visitor attractions on foot.
A lot of thought and care has gone into the finish of the interior design and it has been furnished and decorated to a very good standard with guest comfort high on the list of priorities.
The open plan ground floor has been turned into a great social living space; the shape of which still allows those cosy nights by the fire. The position of the well-equipped kitchen area, near to the spacious dining area, provides the perfect space for guests to be together whilst preparing food and dining. The staircase splits half way up and leads to two elegantly designed bedrooms located on the first floor, with a kingsize bed in one and twin beds in the other; both have plenty of wardrobe space. The property will be decorated for those looking to arrive over the festive season.
Keswick is a traditional market town, hosting a very popular market selling local produce on Thursdays and Saturdays.
The town has an abundance of bars, pubs, restaurants and cafés, with plenty of shops both from well-known and independent retailers.
Take a stroll down to stunning Derwentwater where you can hire a rowing boat and visit the famous Theatre by the Lake. Meander through the lovely parks and for family fun check out the play areas or try Puzzling Place, a mind boggling attraction based on optical illusions, or the Derwent Pencil Museum, home to the largest pencil in the world. For the more energetic, the fells of Latrigg and Catbells are within easy walking distance too! Shop, pub and restaurant 30 yard
