Whiskey Cottage, named after the owner’s pet dog, is a perfect retreat for couples or small families, in the centre of Keswick, yet quietly situated. This traditional Lakeland stone cottage is in a terrace of similar properties, set back from the main road into town and only 400 yards from the town’s wealth of amenities, including Fitz Park. The stylish interior has beautifully co-ordinated furnishings and linen, to ensure guests can relish the welcoming and homely ambience. With a well-equipped kitchen, shower room and an en-suite bathroom, a dining room/conservatory, and so much more to guarantee guests have everything they need for a relaxing break away. Thinking of everything, the owners have provided maps and walking route books in the property to allow guests to get the most out of their holiday. Keswick lies on the shores of Derwentwater, which is known as ‘The Queen of the English Lakes’, and it is surrounded by magnificent fells and mountains with walking opportunities for experienced walkers or those who just simply like to stroll amidst beautiful countryside. Beach 25 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 400 yards.
