Wordsworth Cottage is located in a quiet residential street, just off the town centre. There’s ample parking meaning you can leave the car behind and enjoy this popular market town on foot.

If you like culture check out the Theatre by The Lake, with its award-winning arts and drama on the banks of Derwentwater, where you can hire a rowing boat or even take a dip if you need to cool down. For fun you could try Puzzling Place, a mind-boggling attraction based on optical illusions, or the Derwent Pencil Museum, home to the largest pencil in the world.
