The Shillies has also undergone total renovation. Coulderton is acoastal village situated in Cumbria and is located just to the south west of Egremont and just on the outskirts of St Bees.

The beauty of this area is that it is so close to the Lakes. Take a trip on the Ravenglass to Eskdale miniature steam railway, known to the locals as the ’la ’al ratty’, or visit beautiful Muncaster Castle, home to the World Owl Centre. One of the main attractions of this area are the exceptional starry nights, which is due to no light pollution. Whitehaven is only a few miles away and is filled with popular restaurants and a world-famous port.

You can visit the Beacon Museum here, which is bursting with history. Coast2Coast cycle routes, coastal walks and golf at St Bees and Seascale are all within easy reach and a single track railway runs along the back of the property.
