One of the main benefits of this property is that it is only 2 minutes’ walk from Ulverston town centre.
Ulverston is a beautiful market town with cobbled streets and a wealth of shopping options. The town has remained mainly unaffected by the ingress of major high street brands so still offers a rich variety of independent gift and clothing shops. There is a good selection choice of pubs, cafes and restaurants and with regular festivals and events there is always something of interest to see and do. Ulverston attractions include the Laurel and Hardy museum, the Retro Roxy cinema and Hoad Monument. Ulverston is the ideal gateway to the Lake District with the World-Famous Lake Windermere only 15 minutes’ drive and the charming Lake villages of Bowness and Windermere a little further on.
There is truly something for everyone within a short travelling radius.
For outdoor enthusiasts there are numerous options if you like water sports, walking or cycling, or for the more adventurous you can choose activities like High Ropes adventures or Segway. For families you have wildlife parks and aquariums, for culture vultures there are Beatrix Potter and Wordsworth attractions or a choice of museums, stately homes and gardens. Whatever your passion, from Michelin Starred restaurants to Horse Racing, you’ll find it within easy reach of this property
