Detached cottage located in the grounds of Orrest Head House with easy access to one of the finest short walks in the Lake District, Orrest Head. Ground Floor:
Property has gas central heating and comprises:
Entrance Hall: A good place to drop your bags, hang your coats or place your dog’s bed.
Lounge: A tranquil, bright and airy room with leather seating and a flat screen TV
Kitchen/Dining Room: With table and chairs, microwave, fridge/freezer, separate hob and fan oven
Shower Room: With shower cubicle, WC and wash basin.

First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With super king size bed and views to lake Windermere
Bedroom 2: With single bed and views to National Trust field and cows (if you’re lucky!)
Bedroom 3: With twin beds.

Bathroom: With shower, bath, WC and wash basin. All gas, electric, towels and bed linen included. Wi-Fi available. Highchair

Patio area with furniture, BBQ and ample parking. Guests have use of the grounds of ref CC127235. Visit England 3 Star. A refundable damage deposit of £100 is payable one week prior to arrival.

Orrest Head Cottage is a detached house located in the grounds of Orrest Head House just above Windermere Village. The house is surrounded by National Trust Fields and looks out over a delightful vegetable garden to lake Windermere beyond. For the keen walkers (or even an after dinner stroller) the house backs straight onto the path through Common Woods and up to Orrest Head, one of the finest short walks in the Lake District (according to Alfred Wainwright). Even though the house is in such a rural location it is within a couple of minutes stroll into Windermere Village, with all the restaurants, bars you’d expect and of course Booths Supermarket.
