Located in a quiet conservation area just minutes from Littlehampton’s seafront, The Cottages by the Sea are beautiful Grade ll listed, detached, single-storey cottages and are both pet friendly. Ideal for those of you who seek the smell of the sea and an invigorating walk along an unspoilt beach, with your four legged friend by your side.
The seaside town of Littlehampton can be found at the mouth of the beautiful River Arun, and has not just one, but two beaches - perfect for crabbing! Take a boat trip around the harbour, or the ferry from the east to the west beach during the summer months.
This is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, home to one of three sand dune systems in West Sussex, an ideal spot for a picnic and fossil hunting. Littlehampton’s eastern promenade features a 1000ft long bench, thought to be the longest in Britain. Join in the slat engraving scheme, or there is a huge choice of rides and attractions at Harbour Park. The River Arun offers sailing, diving and fishing opportunities. Visit the Look and Sea Visitor Centre, and should the weather become inclement, there is an indoor leisure centre.
The cottages are also ideally situated for visiting the South Downs National Park, or enjoying the horse racing and motor racing at Goodwood. Explore Chichester, with its historic cathedral and Arts Festival, or marvel at Arundel Castle with its one thousand years of history. Good rail connections to London can be found nearby, and Portsmouth and Brighton are both under an hour by car or train for further sightseeing opportunities. Beach 350 yards. Shop 100 yards, pub 80 yards and restaurant ¼ mil
