Perfectly positioned, the house is just a short walk from the magnificent Osborne House, Queen Victoria’s former seaside residence. With its Italianate architecture, landscaped gardens, and the exquisite Durbar Room, it’s a day out not to be missed. Also nearby is St Mildred’s Church in Whippingham, one of the Queen’s favourite places of worship. East Cowes has a range of welcoming pubs and restaurants, including the popular Lifeboat Inn and elegant Albert Cottage, which also serves afternoon teas.
