This spacious, first floor, two bedroomed apartment is located above an accountants, in the heart of St Margaret’s at Cliffe, in Kent. Decorated and furnished to a good standard, this property is in a great location to explore the local villages and surrounding coastline. Both the bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, and the double bedroom overlooks the owner’s garden. The kitchen is well-equipped and also features a Nespresso coffee machine with pods provided.
On weekday evenings (from 6pm only) and all weekend, guests have access to the lovely courtyard garden with seating and barbecue. St. Margaret’s at Cliffe is a quaint village between Dover and Deal and it is well known for once being the home of the ’James Bond’ author, Ian Fleming. You will find that there is a bus stop nearby if you would like to explore the area without having to drive.
Places of interest include Canterbury, with its famous cathedral and city walls, Dover Castle and the secret war tunnels, or you could even take a day trip to France. The lovely Georgian town of Deal is only 5 minutes away by car and there is a local indoor swimming pool nearby. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards
Spoilt for choice - cottage in a village or coastal holiday? South of England is very accessible by road and rail. There is plenty of holiday cottages that are dog friendly in London, Cowes or Salisbury - some have hot tubs.
