The New Forest is a short drive away, where cattle and ponies roam the heathland. Salisbury with its cathedral, shops and restaurants is 5 miles away, or the quaint village of Downton provides local amenities. Bournemouth, with its sandy beach, and Christchurch are both about 1/2 hour drive. Various NT houses, gardens and pretty villages all nearby. Shop and pub 300 yards.
