Meadowside Forge is the perfect choice for a relaxing retreat at any time of year. This historic building dates from the 1820’s and was originally a working forge. The pretty, detached, single story, barn conversion has been sympathetically converted and retains many original features with natural stone walls, exposed beamed ceilings and high quality furnishings. A character property with a spacious interior. Nestled within glorious countryside in the delightful hamlet of Quoditch near Ashwater in Devon, this delightful cottage is the ideal choice to unwind and recharge your batteries. All on one level, the light and airy open plan living area has a well-equipped kitchen and sofas surrounding a cosy wood burner.
Outside, there is an enclosed patio area, complete with garden seating to enjoy a lazy breakfast while you plan your day. Ashwater has a really good pub and for those wishing to explore, Meadowside Forge could not be more centrally located for visiting the Eden Project one day and Bude or Widemouth Bay the next.
