Branscombe’s charming thatched cottages, working forge and restored water mill add to the timeless magic of the place. Grapevine is an ideal holiday location for families, friends or couples, and is great for those who love cycling or kayaking as the property offers cycle and kayak storage. The secluded garden features pretty flower beds and sitting-out areas, perfect for relaxing in peace.
The property has been decorated and furnished to a very good standard, still maintaining its charm with beams and inglenook fireplace with woodburner, making this an ideal cottage all year round. Deer, badger, fox and birds of prey can all be spotted from this south-facing cottage which overlooks the field and woodland beyond.
There are also beach towels, a hairdryer, adult bathrobes and toiletries provided. The beach just over a mile away boasts a thatched café serving breakfast baps on the beach and fresh crab sandwiches. An easy graded trail winds-up from the beach to the village pub with a restaurant or continue on passing Manor Mill, a tea room and the working forge.
