The village is just over 1 mile from the coastal town of Bude with extensive sandy beaches, sea swimming pool, leisure centre, surfing and a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. There is also a range of golf courses in the vicinity. Stratton is a great base from which to explore many of Cornwall and Devon’s attractions.

Bude is Cornwall’s most northern town and has been a favourite seaside resort since Victorian times. The town has excellent facilities and a wide selection of interesting, independent shops. This idyllic area has a large amount of bird life for the dedicated twitcher and some wonderful, scenic walks along the Southwest coastal path. The centre of Bude is a lively hub with concerts, dances and fetes as well as other events throughout the season, including an annual Carnival Week. Beach 3 miles.
