Presented to a very high standard, with five en-suite bedrooms, it is perfect for anyone wanting a relaxing seaside escape. Bi-folding doors from the main living area open onto a sunny raised deck with a glass balustrade, the ideal spot to enjoy an al fresco supper and watch the sun set over the water. Exmouth, Devon’s oldest seaside resort, has a busy little harbour to the west and high red cliffs with coastal paths to the east.
Exmouth’s main attraction is the 2 miles of beach, and there is also the Exe Estuary, home to numerous species of wildlife and a favourite with birdwatchers. There are walks close by, including the Jurassic Coast with its stunning views. From the coastal path, you can experience sheer cliff faces and strangely eroded rock formations. Exmouth is the place for water sports, or why not enjoy a river cruise on the Exe Estuary with views of Starcross, Powderham Castle, Topsham and Lympstone. Exeter is a short train ride along the estuary with its historic cathedral and shops, it has plenty to do if the weather is a little dull, from shopping and bowling to indoor climbing and numerous museums.
Golf, fishing and horse riding are available locally, and for family fun, Crealy Great Adventure Park and Go Ape Forest Adventure are close by. For a great day out, why not take a trip to Powderham Castle or the National Trust treasures of Castle Drogo and Killerton. There is first class cricket at Taunton, only a train ride away, as well as top flight rugby with the Chiefs in Exeter. Pamper yourself at Lympstone Manor, or just visit for afternoon tea or a Michelin starred dining experience. Beach 2 miles. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 1 mile
