Beautifully converted from a Victorian barn, these two cottages are situated off a quiet lane close to the hamlet of Treggidden, which is centrally located on the famous Lizard Peninsula. Furnished and equipped to a high standard, they adjoin one another and nestle amidst 14 acres of grass and woodland (which the retired owners run as a hobby farm) with a small stream forming the southern boundary. Just 10 miles from Helston and 23 miles from Falmouth, this area of Cornwall is well known for its wealth of wildlife, many NT gardens, sheltered sandy beaches and romantic coves. The tranquil wooded coastline running up to the Helford Estuary offers some of the most spectacular walks in the south-west. The properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 8 guests.
The owners live with their dogs on the farm, which is run as a retirement hobby. In addition to horses grazing the land there are chickens and ducks with an O guage garden railway in the orchard.

Finding it hand to choose - city pied-a-terre or beach front holiday house? South West England has local events and festivals throughout the year. Families will find holiday cottages that are dog friendly in South Dorset, North Coast Cornwall or Truro and Falmouth - some have swimming pools.
