Carp fishing on-site (shared with other properties on-site). 2 unallocated spaces in shared parking area. No smoking. Please note: There are 6 steps in the garden, and an unfenced lake in the grounds. The property has a natural water supply via spring.

Stargazer is a two-bedroom cottage set over two floors with fabulous vistas. The ground floor consists of a hallway, shower room, twin bedroom, well-equipped kitchen and a cosy living/dining room, with patio doors leading to an enclosed decking area and steps down to the garden. Upstairs there is a stylish double bedroom and a bathroom fitted with a claw-foot bathtub. Relax on the decking and soak up the glorious Otter Valley views. There is a carp lake on-site shared with the guests staying at the other properties, guests with a fishing license and barbless hooks are allowed to fish here, and there is also a seating area, perfect for enjoying a family picnic in the summer.

The farm also has horses and sheep grazing in the meadows, friendly dogs and cats, as well as an abundance of wildlife – watch out for deer and the large variety of birds.
Locally, there are numerous scenic footpaths to explore, and within walking distance are the nearby villages of Rawridge and Uppottery. The Otter Valley is located in the foothills of the stunning Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and it’s also within easy reach of the Jurassic Coast and beaches. Discover the rolling countryside and moorlands, with easy access across the borders of Somerset and Dorset to experience the delights all three regions have to offer.
