This smart, Grade II listed cottage, converted from old stables, is situated 400 yards from the pub in Highweek and serenely set in the owner’s 5-acre grounds of 16th-century Ringslade House. A barn separates the cottage from the house. The interior is very smart and stylish with flagstone floors downstairs, whilst outside to the front is a large, rabbit-grazed lawn and to the rear is an enclosed courtyard with a gate leading to a meadow, which is shaded by old apple trees. There is also a fire pit with log seating and an unfenced wildlife pond. From the meadow, there is access to a games room (unheated) with a half-size table tennis and pool table, table football and darts, as well as use of a 12-seater cinema room with Blu-ray player.
