This detached bungalow, sitting in the grounds of its larger sister property, Freefolk (ref W44129), is situated just a few hundred yards from the North Cornwall Coast and just a 15-minute walk from the beautiful sandy surfing beach, shops, pubs and restaurants of Polzeath. In fact, once you have parked up, you really don’t need the car since you can just stroll down the sandy path to the beach or the village. Polzeath is a pretty little village set behind a fine sandy beach which is known for its good surfing, where you will find surf board hire and lessons to enjoy.
The cafés, restaurants and bars all serve local ales and home-cooked food, many with terraces that overlook this super beach.
Just a short drive away are the coastal resorts of Rock and Daymer Bay, where you can find a variety of water sports or take a ferry across to Padstow with its array of pubs, shops and restaurants, including Rick Stein’s famous fish restaurant.
Wadebridge is 7 miles, where you can cycle or walk the popular Camel Trail. Also within easy reach are the many seaside resorts on the North Cornwall Coast including Newquay with its famous surfing beaches, zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium. Further up the coast are Port Isaac, made famous by the TV series ‘Doc Martin’; Tintagel, the mythical home of King Arthur; and Boscastle with its pretty harbour. Beach 300 yards. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant 150 yards.
